The Transit Access Program provides competitive grants to member jurisdictions for improvements within a half mile of frequent transit service. Cycle 3 awarded $2.5 million to nine projects in 2025.
Eligible improvements
- New or reconstructed sidewalks and curb ramps
- Marked and signalized pedestrian crossings
- Bus stop boarding areas, shelters, and lighting
- Secure bicycle parking at transit centers

- Minimum 20 percent local match
Funded by the transit share of the Regional Transportation Improvement Fund.
