Policies adopted by the Board of Directors and administrative policies that govern how NRTA conducts its work.

Title VI and nondiscrimination

NRTA operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and without regard to sex, age, or disability in accordance with related federal and state laws.

Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination may file a complaint with NRTA within 180 days of the alleged incident. Complaint forms are available in English and Spanish and may be submitted by email, mail, or in person. The Coordinator will help anyone who needs assistance completing a complaint, including by phone.

Complaints may also be filed directly with the Federal Transit Administration Office of Civil Rights or the Federal Highway Administration.

Americans with Disabilities Act

NRTA does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission to, access to, or operation of its programs, services, or activities. Requests for reasonable modification or auxiliary aids may be made through the accommodation request form or by contacting the ADA and Title VI Coordinator.
